I wrote this in my notes two years ago and haven't looked at it again until today. I'm really introverted and not one to interact on social media, however, reading what I wrote back then sparked a spontaneous desire to do something productive. While I was reading, since now I don't remember what I wrote, it felt like somebody else wrote it and was speaking to me, saying everything I needed to hear to both motivate and comfort myself from my lack of action to change my stagnant lifestyle. I'm writing this as a reminder to stop counting down the days, and instead, make every day of my life count.

Be productive: Get a part-time/full-time job over the summer or get involved with the community

You'll be nervous, unsure, scared and inexperienced but you'll learn and get better along the way.
Start a new project / put yourself out there / create a new platform on social media to feature art

You'll be anxious but you have to be responsive.
Be yourself.
Do your best

Even if trying once didn't grant you success, it doesn't mean the next chance won't.
Things will be hard
You'll struggle
A lot
But you'll regret it more if you don't give it your all.
A quote by Thomas Edison: "Many of life's failures are people who didn't realize how close they were to success when they gave up."
I hate to think that I would be working towards something, overcoming obstacles though unable to see beyond the horizon, only to give up when success was just a few steps away.

Focus on your education

How you start your morning sets the tone for the rest of your day.
Don't let others bust your mood! (or at least, try not to let it get to you often).
If you fall, then get back up just as quickly.
You can stress, be frustrated, and complain as much as you want but you can't give up on your goals.
"Nothing is worth having or worth doing unless it takes effort to keep it."
You don't know what you want to do or who you want to be / maybe you have an idea but you've yet to achieve it - so make a reminder: what are your goals, interests, what can you look forward to doing in the future?

Get stuff done, start now, even if you do a little, it's more than before you started.
Think, plan, and take action for the things that will benefit you in the long run.
But don't forget to appreciate and cherish what you have now.

Give the attention and care to your friends and family that deserve it - this applies to yourself as well

Be kind to others and be kind to yourself - you are your own worst critic.
Don't let the little stuff stray/distract you.
Indulge yourself from time to time (That's a must!) - recharge and reassess - take time to care for your own well-being.
"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." ~ Mark Twain
You'll make mistakes, things happen and it can't be helped / if things don't work out then it doesn't work out - that's okay

Everyone makes mistakes but mistakes don't define you, learn from it, and be better than the actions of your past.

Do it because you want to.
