Nighttime is sacred. The sun sets sinks beneath the clouds, and stars swirl through the galaxies. It is time to be cradled in the Creator’s arms. Time for our minds and souls to rest. But first we must prepare:
Bathtime ☾
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. ~Psalm 51:10
Skincare ☾
Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. ~Psalm 24:3-4
Cozy Clothes ☾
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.~Psalm 62:1-2
Reflect on The Day ☾
The fear of the LORD leads to life, So that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil. ~Proverbs 19:23
Relax in Bed ☾
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.~Psalm 91:1
Time for sleep ☾
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep ~ Psalm 127:2
Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. ~ Psalm 121:4
