Helloooo! This time I will tell you about Bariloche, it's a city known for its swiss architecture, chocolates and for the ski centers that open in winter. There’s a lot to do because you can find indoor and outdoor activities. As usual, at the end I will let you a list of things that I didn’t do but you should.

Circuito Chico

It’s a half day tour that will take you to the outsides of Bariloche to admire all the landscapes and panoramic views. It’ll start at Cerro Campanario and you can reach the top in a chairlift to have a 360° view of the city and Nahuel Huapi and Moreno Lakes.

After that, the bus will take you to San Eduardo Chapel and to watch the famous hotel Llao Llao. Some tours end in a fabric of Rosa Mosqueta products, they will tell you a little bit about the plant and you can find oils, moisturizing lotions and perfumes.

Walk downton

You can start at the Centro Cívico, it’s a square surrounded by beautiful houses and buildings that will remind you from those postcards with beautiful alpine landscapes. Later, walk the Mitre Street where you will find a lot of chocolate stores! My favorite was Mamuschka but you can taste all of them and then decide, some are Rapanui and El Turista. There are also stores of clothes, souvenirs, hotels and a lot of restaurants.

Enjoy the festivals!

When I was in Bariloche there was a festival in Centro Cívico named Bariloche a la carta. It was amazing because the idea was to show you Bariloche through its food and more than 80 restaurants create a special menu with traditional dishes, but there were also tastings and learning activities.

Things I didn’t do but you should

This time I did more activities in the city than in the nature so I suggest you to visit Nahuel Huapi National Park, Isla Victoria and Lanín Volcano. Also you can visit other towns near Bariloche like El Bolsón or Villa La Angostura. But, if you go in winter don’t forget your snowboard or skies and visit the winter centers!

Hope you like it! Next stop: Puerto Iguazú and the famous Iguazú Falls.
