There was a girl, sorted into Slytherin, who felt as if she didn't belong.
Her father a Hufflepuff and her mother a Gryffindor, Slytherin was the last possibility when it came to being sorted into a house.
At first, her classmates were skeptical of her allegiance, however, she worked up the courage to talk with them and was brave. Soon her fellow Slytherins overlooked her parent's house allegiance and welcomed her warmly. She had won their trust.
As the years went on, and she grew older, and Voldemort returned to power, she was recruited as a spy for the Order of the Phoenix, her parents were also members. She joined both Dumbledore's Army and the Inquisitional Squad, feeding information about Umbridge and discreetly discovering information from Malfoy about Death Eaters. In her fifth year she accompanied Harry Potter and his friends into the Department of Mysteries, even witnessing Voldemort and Dumbledore duel. When she returned, her secret mission continued, working with Snape and even becoming a Death Eater with Malfoy. She guarded the passageway while Snape killed Dumbledore, a mission that was very difficult for her to do, but mandatory so Lord Voldemort would be positive of her allegiance. During the Battle of Hogwarts, she fought against the Death Eaters, along with Daphne Greengrass, Tracey Davis, Yatin Bhagat, Roy and Peter (last names unavailable), they were some of the few Slytherins who remained to fight. After the war, she resumed a normal wizarding life, continuing work for the Order and becoming an Auror.
