“What’s wrong?”
“I’m just tired.”
It’s not a complete lie.
I want to believe I am truly tired.
But sometimes I know it’s not tiredness.
It’s way more powerful.
It isn’t the tired feeling that sways me into the dark and makes me stay up till 3am wondering what’s wrong with myself.
Tiredness can be easily slept away but it is this other feeling that cannot be controlled.
I always tell everyone I’m “just tired” because if others believe it, then maybe one day, I will too.
