Intro - Healthy hair is something i know everyone wants so i decided to ask my dad (who is a hairdresser and have worked with tony and guy and has had multiple hair salons) on some tips on how to have healthy looking hair and this is what he said

  • HEAT

Try to stay away from hairdryers, hair curlers or anything like that because they could damage your hair. Try to us them like once a week if it is that necessary.
  • USE COLD WATER

Rinse and condition with cold water. Also try not to use too hot water as it works the same as heat can burn and damage your hair. Cold water helps seal in moisture and shine.Washing with cold water can also close your pores.
  • HAIR MASK

Just like our skin our hair should be pampered too. Try using a hair mask depending on your hair type one or twice a week. For my curly head girls i would suggest the Cantu hair mask as it makes you curls bounce and your hair soft.
  • DON`T WASH EVERYDAY

Washing your hair every day dries it out and strips too much of your natural oils. Give your hair a rest and skip washing it.
  • EATING RIGHT

Eating lots of leafy greens and healthy fats makes shiny, flowing, healthy looking hair. Eating good not only helps your hair but your skin, your body and even makes you feel better
  • SHAMPOO YOU`R SCALP

This one surprised me. You should only use shampoo on the scalp only, not on the ends of your hair. The shampoo will rinse down in the shower, but you don’t want to scrub the ends as it can make it frizzy when you dry it.
