My Thirty Days of Movies
I am not necessarily the best judge of movies, of which are the best and worst, of which have the best characters and don't. I pretty much enjoy any and every movie I watch, unless something about it pisses me off. So please do not take my suggestions as being that of a serious critic, this is just me.
Day 30: Least Favorite Movie
Endless Love

No hate on this movie, I did like it. it was very cute and simple. I legit have a list of all of my favorite movies and of this list, this one doesn't make me want to watch it every day.
Day 29: Movie that Changed My Opinion About Something
The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I'm sure most of you have watched this film or at least know of it.
But SPOILER ALERT (kind of...)
The topic of depression and suicide in this film once made little sense to me. I struggled to understand how someone can get so sad that they'd want to end their life. My first experience with suicide was with someone I knew, not necessarily a close friend but someone I talked to, laughed with, shared friends with. And then I watched this film. And then someone very close to me experienced depression and suicide attempts. Of course, I could never presume to know the depths of how people with depression feel, but I finally do understand why I can never just tell someone with depression that they shouldn't feel sad. So this movie really helped when that experience came around.
Day 28: Movie(s) with the Best Soundtrack
There is a lot. A lot. So I'll name the ones that stuck out the most.

This is only the beginning, there's a lot of movie soundtracks I listen to on repeat but these are the first that came to mind.
Day 27: Favorite Classic

It's a tight tie between these three, I love them so much.
Day 26: Movie that is a Guilty Pleasure
Shoot 'Em Up

Couldn't find a pic for this movie. It's gritty, bloody, a complete shitshow BUT I love every second of it. Plus Clive Owen and Monica Belluci are hot together.
Day 25: A Movie No One Would Expect Me to Love
Disney's Descendants 2

I'm at an age where people will look at you weird if you are watching Disney still. But I'll check it out every once in a while and I really liked this film. The first was okay, but this one was everything. Uma and Harry are everything.
Day 24: Favorite Documentary
Rise of the Warrior Apes

Couldn't find a pic, once again. I watched it three times and never got bored with it. It's about a group of fierce chimpanzees and everything to do is something we can see in human behavior, and it's awesome. I highly recommend it!
Day 23: Favorite Character

First, if I will have a favorite character, it's most likely always going to be a bad ass woman. Secondly, it's hard to pick. And I love these three to death so it's a tight threeway tie between Evelyn Carnahan, Queen Elizabeth I and Elizabeth Swann.
Day 22: Most Underrated Movie
Phone Booth

No one talks about this movie ever and I felt like it was really good. I enjoyed the plot and the bad guy. I think everyone should watch this movie and give it a try. Plus, Colin Farrell - MAN CRUSH.
Day 21: Most Overrated
The Godfather

It was a good movie. But I have to admit it didn't interest me as much as I thought it would.
Day 20: Favorite Actress
I can't pick one.
Day 19: Favorite Actor
Leonardo DiCaprio

This guy can do it all, and I said it and I meant it. And it shouldn't have taken him so long to get that damn award.
Day 18: Most Disappointing Movie
Insidious: Chapter Three
It just sucked.
Day 17: Best Movie During Last Year
Get Out

Hands down, no question.
Day 16: Last Movie You Saw in Theaters
Annabelle: Creation

I made a bet with my cousin that first person who covered their eyes would have to give up twenty bucks. Neither of us lost, but it was hard for me because I suck at jumpscares.
Day 15: First Movie You Saw in Theaters
The Lion King

I've professed my love to this movie many times now.
Day 14: Favorite Quote(s) from a Movie
Jurassic Park

"What's so great about discovery? It's a violent, penetrative act that scars what it explores. What you call discovery, I call the rape of the natural world." - Dr. Ian Malcolm
"God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs."
"Dinosaurs eat man. Woman Inherits the Earth."
-Dr. Ian Malcolm and Dr. Ellie Sattler
"John, the kind of control you're attempting simply is... it's not possible. If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh... well, there it is."
-Dr. Ian Malcolm
Day 13: Movie that You Used to Love and Now Hate
Like I said, I pretty much enjoy every movie I watch.
