To be a person on Earth
It is hard,
On your mental
And physical health.
Sanity isn’t held properly
Away from the world.
It escapes,
And hurts.

I have her,
To keep me from freezing solid
And letting my sanity free.

A girl who reads on her firetruck red blanket.
All day long.
Her chopped hair doesn’t fall to her shoulders
But just above her ears.

Some people mistake her for a boy.
In my opinion her short hair
Claims more femininity.
So she doesn’t look like one.

With a pale face and brown hair,
Gold was applied by careful hands, on her head.
Thin bordered glasses that help her see,
Her brown eyes that glint amber light at their bottoms.

I could talk about her eyes for hours.
They are big and round,
I hear that her mom would’ve named her Olivia,
Because her eyes looked like “O’s”,
And could see everything
A burden at times.

To go to school everyday
With the same old people
And routine,
When no one really knows who you are.
It drives me bonkers.

And I stay quiet too.
I barely speak.
But I have so much to say,
But still,
I don’t.

I don’t have any friends
Besides Dame,
A sensitive and talented artist.
I don’t know how he does it,
I hear from his mother that he imagines things on people when he is bored.
How cute.
