Hello everybody, this is my very first article in WHI. I didn't really know what to write so I went for a simple idea. Today I'll be sharing my 10 most favourite animes and I recommend you watching them.

anime and death note image
1. Death Note

Death Note evolves around a high school with a strong sense of justice who finds a notebook that can kill people. With that he decides to punish criminals and create a new world where only good people by his standards will leave. But a detective going by the name L gets in his way. Filled with logical thinking and mystery, this is my favourite anime.

2. Code Geass - Lelouch of Rebellion and Lelouch of Rebellion R2

In the year 2010 the Holy Empire of Britannia began a campaign of conquest, its sights set on Japan. Operations were completed in one month thanks to Britannia's deployment of new mobile humanoid armor vehicles dubbed Knightmare Frames. Japan's rights and identity were stripped away, the once proud nation now referred to as Area 11. Its citizens, Elevens, are forced to scratch out a living while the Britannian aristocracy lives comfortably within their settlements. Pockets of resistance appear throughout Area 11, working towards independence for Japan. Lelouch, an exiled Imperial Prince of Britannia posing as a student, finds himself in the heart of the ongoing conflict for the island nation. Through a chance meeting with a mysterious girl named C.C., Lelouch gains his Geass, the power of the king. Now endowed with absolute dominance over any person, Lelouch may finally realize his goal of bringing down Britannia from within!
This anime made me cry so bad! One of the best I have ever seen.

3. Naruto and Naruto Shippuden

Deep within the Hidden Leaf Village, sharp and cunning Ninja carry amazing talents and powers, and Naruto Uzumaki carries an amazing secret. Twelve years ago, the fourth Hokage sacrificed himself to save the village by sealing the Nine-tailed Fox Spirit inside this orphaned newborn. Now, this plucky prankster must do what it takes to achieve his life-long goal to become the next Hokage! Action, drama, adventure and a great anime for martial arts lovers!

anime and attack on titan image
4. Attack on Titan

Many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls, but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill - or be devoured! Packed with action and mystery this anime had to be on this list.

5. Kamisama Kiss

Nanami Momozono is alone and homeless after her dad skips town to evade his gambling debts and the debt collectors kick her out of her apartment. So when a man she's just saved from a dog offers her his home, she jumps at the opportunity. But it turns out that his place is a shrine, and Nanami has unwittingly taken over his job as a local deity! There she meets Tomoe, an unfriendly, cold hearted yokai fox. But soon she falls in love with him and discovers his caring and compassionate side. One of the best romantic anime I've ever watched! And for comedy lovers - it's really funny too.

6. Seraph of The End

After a mysterious virus wipes out ninety percent of humanity, vampires emerge from the recesses of the earth to enslave mankind, treating them like livestock. After growing tired of donating blood in exchange for protection, 12-year-old Yuichiro Hyakuya and his best friend Mikaela Hyakuya plot an escape along with the other orphans. After being the only successful runaway, Yuichiro joins the Moon Demon Company, an extermination unit of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army dedicated to killing off vampires. A true shonen fan should not miss out on Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign! A light Yaoi anime that made me believe in friendship and family.

anime, sebastian, and black butler image
7. Black Butler

Sebastian Michaelis is more than just one hell of a butler. He's a lonely boy's everything. Summoned from darkness, Sebastian serves Ciel with a sly smile. He brews the morning tea with care, gently dresses his ward in the daintiest of robes, and quashes the Young Master's enemies with a flourish! But following orders can be quite the bore, and Sebastian grows ever so hungry... Before he can silence the rumble of his stomach, however, there is the small matter of an unholy union, a contract if you will. The Butler must locate and exterminate the nefarious ne'er-do-wells responsible for the murder of his Young Master's most unfortunate parents. Then - and only then - may Sebastian reveal his true form and dine on the delicacy that is Ciel's scrumptious soul. And while the demon devours his prize, all of London shall burn.

anime, gosick, and victorique image
8. Gosick

Gosick is set in the fictional European country of Sauville in the 1920s. Kazuya Kujo is a transfer student to St. Marguerite Academy, a place where myths and superstitions are abundant. While there he chances upon Victorique, a mysterious, yet highly intelligent girl who spends her days in the seclusion of the library reading its entire contents or solving mysteries that the local detectives can't solve. A sweet romantic anime filled with mystery.

anime, assassination classroom, and korosensei image
9. Assassination Classroom

Forget about homework and pop quizzes. The students of Class 3E have a far more important assignment: kill their teacher before the end of the year! A tentacle-d sensei that moves at Mach 20 is out to conquer the classroom after destroying seventy percent of the moon. In addition to reading, writing, and arithmetic, the murderous monster behind the lectern will teach his students everything he knows about the assassination game. Should some eager beaver prove to be a quick study in killing, he or she will save Earth from extinction - and collect a hefty reward. But they'd better take some serious notes while class is in session because their slaughtering sensei has eight deadly tentacles just waiting to wreak havoc on humanity! Action, drama and adventure; this anime inspired me to put teacher down in my 'what I want to be when I grow up' list.

10. Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn)

Upon her sixteenth birthday, the cheerful Princess Yona intended to tell her doting father of her love for Soo-won, but her life was turned upside down after witnessing the man she loves cruelly assassinating her father. Heartbroken by this painful betrayal, Princess Yona fled the palace with her loyal servant Hak. Now, she will take up the sword and the bow on a quest to gain new allies and protect her beloved people. One my first romantic animes and I loved it!

That's all for this list. Please note that most of these descriptions have been taken from other anime watching websites so I give credits to animelab.com and kissanime.ru. And if you haven't watched any some of these animes, I really recommend you to give them a go. Have fun!
