*insert one directions song 'the story of my life'
(is anyone still upset that they broke up or is it just me?)

I'm going to try and keep this short and simple. But let's start the very beginning. It's a very good place to start. I was born and raised in Papua New Guinea. Yes, I am an island girl. Yes, Moana is based on my life. (just kidding)
Anyways, when I was 9, my family moved to Australia. It was very daunting at first, new place, new culture, new friends to make. But I can happily say that it has been one of the most riveting time and my family really came together. We've lived in Australia ever since. So that means I have been in this country for a little over ten years. I have loved every minute of living here. I think there is something amazingly unique about Australia. The land down under.

Some things that I have learnt living in Australia:
-it's very diverse. there are so many cultures represented.
-australia has a very laid back culture. it's amazing.
-we have beaches, to mountains, to farmland, etc.
-people have told me our coffee is the best. (but don't take my word for it, it's all I have ever known, try it yourself)

I'm currently studying at College, and am in my second year. Very exciting stuff. I should be graduating next year. I can honestly say I have enjoyed the journey so far. I have learnt so much about myself, not just education wise. It was my first time out of the house, so I feel like I matured very quickly.

I'm excited for the new year, and all that it's going to offer. I'm pretty expectant for what it's going to offer. Will there be travel, more study, new relationships/friendships, a job? Who knows, all I know is that I am keen.
