While I'm not from Colorado, I have spent a lot of time up there and I have compiled a list of must go's for the completion of your life.

#1 The Wild Animal Sanctuary

This is probably my favorite place to go when I visit Colorado. First of all, let me start off by telling you how much better sanctuaries are than zoo's. Where zoo's profit off of people visiting and care more about the customers having a pleasant time sanctuaries care more about the animals having a good life than pleasing the customers with shows. They take amazing care of their animals where zoos just don't care a majority of the time. Plus all the animals come from captivity homes where they were abused where zoos take animals out of the wild or breed them. This particular sanctuary is home to more than 450 black bears, grizzly bears, Kodiak bears, wolves, tigers, lions, camels, alpacas, ostriches, mountain lions, jaguars, leopards, and more. It features a "Mile Into The Wild Walkway" that stretches over 1 1/2 miles in length for you to look down at the animals so you don't get in the way. I could honestly spend my whole life there but I typically spend about 3-5 hours there. And here's the best part, if you donate $200 a year (which is not hard to budget people) you can get in for free anytime! https://www.wildanimalsanctuary.org/

#2 Water World

Water World is an outdoor water park for all ages that is honestly the funnest and coolest water park I've ever been to. They have rides that are like funnels where you spin around before dropping down a hole and they have rides that are basically like roller coasters but with tons of water. The park includes over 50 attractions and is perfect for the hot summer weather. https://www.waterworldcolorado.com

#3 SkySox Baseball

If you're in the Colorado Springs area and you're into baseball, SkySox games are inexpensive and fun. I'm not too into baseball myself but I think it's fun to crowd watch.
