Write an article about something that you find interesting

I have to admit this is the hardest challenge in this 15 days writing challenge. I find so many things interesting and on the other hand not a single thing poped in my mind. After hours of deciding about what I want this article about I came to conclusion. So here it is and I hope you like it.

When I was younger I was obssesed with everything about universe. Sun, galaxy, moon, planets, black holes... And even though most of the time this scared shit out of me I was craving for more informations.

What amazed me the most and still does are the stars. I like looking at them at night even though I don't recognize a lot of constellations. There is just something peaceful about looking at them. I become calm and relaxed. I can forget all my problems and it's like the time stops. I could stare at them for hours and I wouldn't get bored.

Like I said I don't recognize a lot of constellations. Only few basic. In general I don't know a lot about stars. Well I do know science. I love to stargaze and my brother even owns a telescope so we watch moon and stars sometimes. But most of the time I don't look at them through science. For me they are something beautiful and mystical. Even romantic. There's just something magical about them. I can't really explain it.

When I went to Australia few years ago I had an oppurtunity to look at southern stars. I was impressed and scared at the same time. Seeing sky for the first time, not recognizing it, that's scary. On the other hand I was way more fascinated than when I'm watching northern sky. When I visited Uluru or Ayers Rock, when I was in the middle of the desert, no lights around me, I went on a small hill and there were few people already watching stars. I joined them and we were lying there in silence just watching stars. It was perfect. The moment really touched me and I will remeber it forever. Let me add it was one of the best things I did when I was in Australia. It's amazing how such a small thing can make such a big impact on someone.
