Hello again! So It's been awhile since I posted my last article and I promise I honestly just couldn't think of any ideas. Since I had no ideas I made up a list of around 7-8 ideas so I can write them more frequently!

Anyways, over the summer I actually made a lot of new friends and went out more (shocking), so I started to get more into makeup. I have to admit before the summer my makeup was trash, I don't know how I let myself walk out the house like I did. Now I do have to say I am pretty good at it, still not a professional, but good enough to walk out in public. So for my second article I'm (obviously) gonna do a makeup routine.

DISCLAIMER: This actually ISN'T my everyday makeup routine, typically everyday I would not wear makeup or just do my eyebrows and mascara. This routine would be for stuff like school or going out with my friends, stuff like that.

1. Eyebrows

So the first thing I always do are my eyebrows. Okay like I said in my last article, I'm probably in a bad mood if my eyebrows aren't looking good. That's why I also do them first, so if I mess up I can easily start over and not wipe off any other product on my face. For my brows I use Salon Perfect Done In One Brow Pomade in dark brown.

2. Foundation

After eyebrows, I use my L'oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation in the shade 310. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of this foundation, the shades are either too dark or too light for my skin tone, and the texture of the foundation has a heavy clay feel that I don't like. My foundation that I would typically use is the Milani Conceal+Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation in warm beige, but I haven't had the time to buy another one. Sometimes I use a beauty blender if I really want full coverage, but if my skin is looking good I'll use a brush to blend it out.

3. Concealer

Next I use my all time favorite, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in the shade light neutral. Can I just say that the hype of this concealer makes sense, this is the best concealer I have EVER used. Speechless. Anyways, I just put this under my eyes and on the bridge of my nose. Then I use a beauty blender to blend it out.

4. Powder and Bronzer

After foundation and concealer, I set my face using my Covergirl Loose Powder in 115. After my face is set, I use my Makeup Revolution Baked Bronzer in Golden Days. I usually contour my cheekbones, forehead, and nose.

5. Mascara

For mascara, I use the L'oreal Telescopic Mascara in the darkest shade, duh. So here's the sitch with my lashes, they're long but not full. So since I don't have the money to buy fake lashes constantly, I use the Younique 3D Fiber Mascara to add onto the first coat. This helps so much more than just applying more and more coats of mascara which will end up clumping your lashes.

6. Highlighter

Girl, lets just say I am EXTRA when it comes to highlighter. Since I haven't had the time (apparently I have no time) to buy another highlighter I currently use the second highlighter from the left in the BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette. Holy crap these highlighters are the bomb, but I apply it to my cheekbones and down my nose.

7. Finishing Touches

To set my work of art (jk I'm not that good) I use the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and lemme tell y'all this works super well, trust me. Then since my lips have been super dry recently, I use one of the Sun Bum Lip Balms. These also work super good and the flavors make the product better.

So that's my detailed and boring makeup routine! Thank you so much if you made it down here, I probably wouldn't have been able to. Now that I have a list of ideas, I'll probably post another article on Sunday!

xoxo, Olivia
