Sometimes I write to quiet the mind of intense feelings and thoughts, thus the words spill onto paper. There's always a sense of solace and comfort after a poem or phrase is finalized because I've acknowledged it and channeled it through writing. Thus, I have shared a few poems on whi, because I hope that they resonate with one other person perhaps, and that they know that someone shares those feelings/thoughts.

Surely, it's terrifying to share your inner thoughts and art with others, however, I have found it easy to do so on weheartit due to my anonymity and its encouraging, and empowering platform. I encourage all of you to write, because it's so calming and a great method of channeling your energies into the written word. Also, if you're feeling doubtful about sharing your writings, i'm just here to say: you can do this because I'm sure someone else will appreciate your thoughts.
