Do you prefer writing with a black or blue pen? Black, definitely.

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or the city? The city. I love the lights, that there's always something new to do. Most importantly, though, I love buildings with more than two floors and exterminators / fumigators. Bugs are the bane of my existence.

3. If you could learn a new skill, what would it be? I would learn Tagalog. My mother never taught me as a kid, save for some phrases like "sige" or "kain na." I appreciate her trying to have me assimilate as best as I could to the United States, but I feel like I was robbed of my Filipino culture.

4. Do you prefer a rainy day or a sunny day? Jeez, it was really hard to find a decent picture for a sunny day here that wasn't a celebrity picture or a picture at the beach. (Not that I don't love the beach, I just don't want to give off the impression that I'm a beach gal.) But yes, I prefer sunny days. Rainy days are cold and wet, they make your shoes and socks soggy. I love being able to go outside and get that good ol' vitamin D.

5. What was your favorite book as a child? School of Fear by Gitty Daneshvari. It's this 5th-grade level, 3-part book series about four kids sent to this school to triumph over their phobias. I especially relate to Madeline Masterson's character, because she had a huge fear of bugs, especially spiders. Can't stand the things.

6. Do you prefer baths or showers? It honestly depends on what I'm going for. If it's relaxation and destressing, it's bath time. (At least, it used to be. My new place only has a shower...) Otherwise, for efficiency's sake, showers are the way to go. And, I sing more in the shower than in the bath.

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which would you choose?I would be an Aghoy (Waray). I specifically chose a creature that is of Philippine origin because I want to make a conscious effort to get to know more about my mother country. According to the, they look like little men/women, their skin is fair and smooth, they have deep-set eyes, high noses, yellow hair... (So, they're small white people lol, which I am not, but MORESO TO THE POINT OF WHY I CHOSE THEM--)

They make friends with kind people, they give their friends wonderful gifts (magic pots always full of food, magic purses always full of gold). I do consider myself to be a generous person, and I want to be kind as much as I possibly can without sacrificing my time and energy to an unhealthy amount.

8. Do you prefer physical books or E-books? Physical books. E-books don't feel real. I mean, they're handy, don't get me wrong. But there's something comforting about turning a page instead of scrolling on an oily screen, you know?

9. What is your favorite item of clothing? OKAY. But I don't think you understand. Skirts are fantastic. They add so much elegance and femininity to any outfit. They're easy to put on, to take off. There's so much FLOWINESS AND AIR. On top of that? Sometimes they have pockets. And sometimes they're LINED inside, so they're suitable for winter. I cannot get enough of them.

10. Do you consider yourself a romantic? I used to, pretty much an unhealthy amount. Nowadays, I think I have a more realistic approach to romance. Of course, there's the relationship you have with yourself that you always need to work on. The real person you're married to, honestly, is yourself. In sickness and in health, until death do you part. So, you got to romanticize those moments you have to yourself, quiet and alone with your thoughts. Or treat yourself to flowers and chocolate, or a movie and dinner date with yourself, because you deserve it. But with other people, I understand that you have to keep your standards high, yet fair. There's no such thing as a perfect person. Heck, you might have your perfect person broken up into several people that you keep in your life, with each person meeting a different need of yours. But toxicity and excessive stress have no place in your every day, no matter how you try to spin it.

11. Have you ever met someone famous? Eva Noblezada, Hadestown, pre-COVID. I embarrassed myself by fangirling too hard. She's so talented, and super sweet in person.

12. How do you relax when you're stressed? Partaking in a fun beverage (or two!) and endlessly scrolling on TikTok. It's nice to not have to FOCUS once in a while.

13. If you could travel back to any era, which would you choose? Pre-colonial Philippines, just for a bit. (Maybe like, a day or two, max.) I want to see what things were like before the Spaniards made everyone hate women and the LGBTQIA+ community, lol.
14. What are you currently listening to? I'm having lo-fi studying music playing in the background right now. I can't stand silence, but sometimes music can be quite distracting. So, I need something that I can have on in the background, but not take up too much of my attention.

15. What is your favorite breakfast food? Whenever my dad visits, we always have a Filipino-style breakfast. Tapsilog or longonisa, garlic rice, and a sunny-side up egg. It's comforting, and a nice treat. Other than that, I usually go for a brunch since I hate waking up early.

16. What is your hair color? Black-brown, natural. I bleached my hair once -- never again. I can't stand the thought of my hair going through that damage again, so I invest in wigs whenever I feel the need for something different.

17. Have you ever been to Paris?
No, I have not. I would like to visit for a week, maybe two. My mom said that she didn't like Paris though, that it was too dirty. It kind of put me off of romanticizing it so much. And watching Emily in Paris... it's definitely an interesting trash-watch show.

18. What's your favorite movie saga? And with this, I have lost all edginess and possibility of being taken seriously. Actually though, Twilight's main romances (Bella x Edward, Bella x Jacob) are both extremely unhealthy/toxic and I will be forever angry that there isn't something that's a bit more focused on the other vampires. (If I can get a standalone mini-series about Alice and Jasper? Or maybe a bit more on Rosalie, because she's a badass, and how Emmett's a secret softie considering she probably needs someone traditionally masculine but with a heart of gold? Or how about Esme and Carlisle, that's gotta be a romance for the centuries.) But, the Twilight saga is a comfort series more than anything of substance. It's something to watch to laugh at, then to begrudgingly enjoy.

19. If you had to work on only one project the next year, what would it be? I'd want to finish writing my first-ever poetry book. But, that takes motivation. Maybe some more subject matter besides obsession and unhealthy relationships. I need to write about stuff other than heartbreak, but I've never quite done that in my own time outside of school. So, we'll have to see.
