For those new to the concept, building an Original Character means taking a movie, TV series or book that we love and creating a new character to put in it.

Some articles are longer, others are shorter... it all depends on the amount of information that you include; but not everyone knows exactly what to put in and that's why I created this guide, hoping to help.

Please note: it is best for your privacy NOT to base the character on you.

More specific information

  • Personality

  • Relationships: family members, friends, crush / exes / current partner, enemies.
  • Interests: favourite colour, favourite food, favourite drink, favourite subject, favourite TV series, favourite phrase... (you don't have to enter all this information, you can choose the one you prefer).
  • What your character likes
  • What your character doesn't like

Historical information

  • Childhood
  • What happens to your character within the inserted story
  • Important event that will change your character
  • How the character's life goes on after the events of the story in which it was inserted

Additional information

  • Playlist representing the character
  • Phrases the character often says
  • Moodboard

Information to add depending on the context

  • Marvel: special powers and abilities (strength, speed, stamina, health, control), if part of Team IronMan or Team Captain America, if can raise Thor's hammer, if is capable of wielding an infinity gem, costume combat.
  • Harry Potter: house, favourite spell, favourite teacher, Yule Ball gown, wand, patronus, if animagus in which animal it transforms into, which side it takes in the final war, smell of the amortentia.
  • The Chronicles of Narnia: favourite weapon (if it fights), its greatest fear (especially if the story takes place in "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader").
  • The Lord of the Rings: special ability, position in battle (if it fights), if it would succumb to the power of the ring, its relationship with the fellowship of the ring.
  • Descendants: if it is a royal or a villain, special abilities, magical item in its possession, roommate if it lives in Auradon, favourite subject, pictures of the room, title (prince, princess ...).
  • Percy Jackson: divine descent, cabin of belonging, deployment in future battles, special abilities and powers, magical items in its possession, prophecy, most feared mythological creature.
