hello! I'm so excited to write to you today about a series that is very dear to me: wandavision! this show came as a surprise to me, I never thought I would watch something just about Wanda and Vision's life. so when I read this show was in the making I was absolutely stunned.
and for that reason, I wanted to share the things that I loved about this show and the things I didn't enjoyed as much with you, in a honest and critic review. as I always try to do.

let's begin!

💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘♡♡

As a huge MCU fan, when I saw the upcoming projects of the Marvel Universe after 'Spiderman: Far from home', I was really excited about this show. I'm a huge fan of the character of Wanda in the comics and MCU because of her complexity, and to see her more and in her own series! was insane to know. after binge watching the whole show while crying and falling in love with it, I think I'm ready to post my opinion about it.

plot

Following the events in 'Avengers: Infinity War' & 'Avengers: Endgame' we find ourselves involve in a style of classic sitcoms, in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision - two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives - begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

'filmed before a live studio audience'
'don't touch that dial'
'now in color'
'we interrupt this program'
'on a very special episode...'
'all-new halloween spooktacular!'
'breaking the fourth-wall'
'previously on'
'the series finale'

characters

i will try to not give any spoilers!
  • wanda maximoff
ugh. such a complex and interesting character from the MCU and to see her in this facet is an amazing way to fully understand her character. we see her dealing with emotions she hasn't taken the time to care of and use her powers in a scale we haven't seen before. such a unique way to re-introduce her to the new phase.

i personally love her, I actually said it in an article I did a few years ago.
  • vision
after the events in the 'Avengers' movie series, to see him again was amazing and it was even better to see him continuing the aspects that make him: vision. I thought that the producers would change some aspects of him for the series, but they maintained the elements that make vision, vision that makes me so happy. loved to see this side of him.

  • agatha harkness
such an interesting and unique character -if you know, you know- to see compared to the other characters in the MCU. even though I would have loved to see more of her past, we get enough to understand her.

monica rambeau [captain marvel]
darcy lewis [thor trilogy]
agent jimmy woo [ant-man's]

what makes me so happy about this characters is, as my subtitle refers, their presence in other MCU projects and now being together in this incredible series. I loved to see them in the way I remembered them. such a unique and fun way to make the show even more intriguing.

  • cast
an amazing and perfect cast. we had seen most of them in other MCU projects, like with Elizabeth Olsen [wanda], Paul Bettany [vision], Kat Dennings [darcy lewis], Randall Park [jimmy woo]. but, we also get such talented people like Teyonah Parris as Monique from 'Mad men', Kathryn Hahn as Agatha, and Evan Peters as Pietro. as always, a casting that never disappoints.

opinion

honestly, I absolutely loved the show and I'm sad that it was so shot. actually, I think that's the only thing I didn't felt right, I don't mean that it needed 20 episodes or anything close to that, but maybe one more episode to still get use to the characters and the developing of the plot. also, I think that I would have loved to see more of Agatha's, I know we get like a whole episode about her doings, but I felted that I needed a little bit more to buy her story. but, overall, is an incredible show. talented people, incredible performances, great writing with such a unique view to the future of the characters. hope to see this kind of quality in the rest of the MCU shows, and also, so excited to see more of Wanda's storyline in phase four.
