Hi everyone! Zoe here :)

Today's article is about the books i recently bought and am so excited to read.

Let's get directly into it.

The Shining - Stephen King

This book is iconic and I'm looking forward to finally read it. Nearly everyone is familiar with what's
the story about and the movie adapation is incredibly famous. I really enjoyed the movie so I'm
curious wether or not the book is even better.

Lock every door - Riley Sager

Now, i don't know a lot about this book yet. It's a thriller about an apartmentsitter who experiences a
bunch of scary and unusual things, and discovers the secrets of the place piece by piece.
From what I can tell for now it could be just another thriller about a haunted house, plastered with
clichés, but i saw a lot of good reviews from people whose judgement i trust, so i have high hopes.

Wilder Girls - Rory Power

arch arch can we please also talk about how this is one of the most beautiful book covers I've ever seen

I'm already halfway through this book and so far i love it! Wilder Girls tells the story about a group of
young women who are stuck on the Island their school is built on after getting sick by an unknown
and deadly disease. I really like this book for being so unique. It includes the strong friendships of a

YA novel, the mystery and overall darkness of a Thriller and a tad of body horror. I can't wait to finish
this book.

It - Stephen King

Now I don't think I need to explain a lot about this book, it's It. The book about a group of kids and
the creepy clown.
While I'm excited to finally read it, I'm also intimidated by how ridiculously long this book is. I'll
probably read it last from this list just because of the length.

Emergency contact - Mary Choi

I usually don't like romance that much, but this book sounded so cute that I thought I could give it a
shot. It's about Penny and Sam who meet in an awkward encounter and switch phone numbers. They
then continue to talk through texts and become digitally inseperable. I thought that the fact that they
talk via texts most of the time is a fresh and interesting take on romance, so I'm excited to see if I'll
like it.

One of us is lying - Karen M. McManus

Okay I am lightyears behind on this. This book was soo hyped up years ago and everyone and their
mother read it, or at least heard about it. But you know what, even if it's 2021, it's not too late to
finally read this murder mystery YA novel to see what the hype was about.

The Life List - Lori Nelson Spielmann

This book is about a woman in her early 30s and a bucket list. She wrote the list as a teen and since
forgot about it, but when her mother dies she makes it her last wish that her daughter finishes to do
everything on that list.
I don't know what it is about this book but I read the description and immediatly hit the buy icon.

The Song of Achilles - Madeline Miller

I have absolutely no idea what to expect. none. But I heard a lot of good things about it so I'm curious
and excited how it will turn out and if i will love it as much as everyone else.
