"We all fall but that's not what matters. What matters is picking yourself up again."

The problems from the first book remained here. The writing style was still a problem for me, although it got better on Viola's parts. I still found Todd's part annoying and hard to follow.

The plot, surprisingly, got better. I liked this book more than the first one. There was more action and more character. Stuff actually happened and both Todd and Viola had decisions to make (instead of just running around). We got to meet more characters that had somewhat distinctive personalities and weren't just lost in the crowd.

In this book, I continued being bothered by Viola's and Todd's age. They are 13 year old kids, why do they act like star crossed lovers?? They would die for each other, they would start a war for each other. They can't live without the other. Wake up, kids, you don't even know each other!

There was another cliff-hanger at the end and a part of me died. I had to take a break from reading the series because I wasn't mentally prepared for another book like this. Why do I like to torture myself, I don't know.

Even though this book was better than the first one, it was still not good enough so that the series would be worth reading. It's still a no from me..

Thanks for reading!
