Iris first got her miraculous when her dad is in danger. Mr Tan have just landed on the airport in paris and is eager to rest but his job don't allow him to do so.

Feeling tried and drain he got akumatized and turn into "Carefree", a villian that make everyone not do their job (Firefighter, Policeman) and the city is in chaos without guidance.

What Hawkmoth doesn't know is that one of the miraculous is nearby; right on the villian! While the fight is going on, he attacks Iris but quickly got beaten by Chat Noir, Carefree accidentally drop a box on the floor and it landed on Iris's feet.

Iris out of curiosity open it and a spark of blue light brust out. Heart appears and ask her to say "Beats Up" she did and she transform into Sirene, a superhero.

Later, Mr Tan tell Iris that the pin is her mom's, making her believe that her mom is a superhero once.
