can anyone believe that we've survived 2020? dear person who's reading this, i'm so glad we did!<3
i challenged myself this year to read 20 books (never read this many in a year), and somehow.. i ended up reading 29! sooo, you know.. here's my favorite fiction reads of 2020.

1. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

it's historical fiction but it's worth the read i promise

2. Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

This one is for the hopeless romantics like me. when i read it, i had zero idea of what it's about. I did not regret what i found. I had zero idea that it'd hunt me and leave me with all these emotions, but i do not regret that either.

3. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

4. The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

this book ruined me. re-birthed me. raised my soul from the ashes. reshaped my entire life.

5. Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

“It's terrifying when you consider that every thought we have, every choice we could possibly make, branches off into a new world.”

this book was.. a journey. this is my first sci-fic read but i'm excited to explore this genre a bit more.

6. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
