Hi loves,
Welcome back to another article! Today, I bring you another How To food article! As you all know, fall is here and the hunt for the perfect dessert to enjoy is over! Today, I will be showing you one of my favorite recipes and a step-by-step on how to create them!
I hope you guys enjoy:-)

- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of salted butter (softened)
- 1 cup of light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup of light granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup 100% of pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
This recipe comes from another one of my favorite cookbooks and websites. thecookierookie. I love this fall dessert, because it is easy to make! It's also another great quarantine project!

- Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Farenheight. Line two baking sheets of parchment paper.
- Step 2:
Whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt together in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
- Step 3:
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy.
- Step 4:
Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree. Beat until smooth and everything is well incorporated.
- Step 5:
Slowly add the dry ingredients as you mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Step 6:
Drop 2 tablespoons portions of dough onto the baking sheets you prepared (as shown in Step 1). Each cookie should be about 1 1/2 inches apart.
- Step 7:
Bake for 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned onto the edges.
- Step 8:
Set the cookies aside to cool after baking for about 5 minutes. Transfer them to a wire rack to finish cooling!
- Step 9:
Enjoy! If you end up making these, post a pic on your WHI page and mention me so I can see! Below are some pictures of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies and how they were made!
