Read a book that you like - sometimes youโ€™re not a bad reader. You just need a book that you like!

Schedule - mark out a time of the day for an hour or 30 minutes and read. On my iPhone I use iBooks and I set my goal to 5 books but now Iโ€™m at 16! Iโ€™m currently finishing book 16 and 17. Iโ€™m just busy! I also set to 5 minute reading time and itโ€™s fun when I see the blue tick it makes me feel like Iโ€™ve achieved something! Which I have! Also, it makes me want to read a bit longer - it becomes a competition.

Figure out if you like reading books, listening to audiobooks or ebooks - find your preference for some people itโ€™s hard to read books because the font is too small or the words are too dense. I would prescribe reading electronically (ebooks) you can change the font size and therefore the block of text becomes smaller. Also, audiobooks can be good for people who are constantly busy. But for me itโ€™s distracting. I need everything to be quiet so that I can do my work.

Soft soft music - sometimes you need a good playlist to listen to in the background. I get easily distracted and itโ€™s hard. I always have to tell my brain to focus so instead I listen to this ( link: this is the best playlist and thereโ€™s some much to choose from!
