Hey guys, how are you?
It's Amanda and I came back with another article.
I was doing my book list these days and found some recommendations to you all. Hope you like it.

1 - The Tower of Nero

Okay, it's not a secret that I love Percy Jackson sooooo much. Rick Riordan is my fave author and I have almost all of his books. And this year we have the last book of The Trials of Apollo and probably the last about Percy Jackson for a looong time since Rick is involved in the adaptations of Percy Jackson and The Kane Chronicles.
So, if you don't know what the book is about I'm gonna put the synopses below:

"At last, the breathtaking, action-packed finale of the #1 bestselling Trials of Apollo! Will the Greek god Apollo, cast down to earth in the pathetic moral form of a teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, finally regain his place on Mount Olympus? Lester’s demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester’s final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York. Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting."

The book will be on sale in October 6th, but I just ordered mine here in Brazil. I'm really excited to read and can't wait to see what's gonna happen in Camp Half-Blood and if my baby Nico will be fine haha.

2 - The Red Pyramid

Rick annouced that The Kane Chronicles will be adapted on Netflix! So we will have Percy Jackson series and The Kane Chronicles movies. I never was into egyptian mythology, but I will start these books asap.
I really need to do the same when I watch Percy Jackson movies: see what's different between the movie and the book. Yeah, I love when I can do this.
So I'm gonna show you the synopsis too:

"Since their mother’s death, Carter and Sadie have become near strangers. While Sadie has lived with her grandparents in London, her brother has traveled the world with their father, the brilliant Egyptologist, Dr. Julius Kane.
One night, Dr. Kane brings the siblings together for a “research experiment” at the British Museum, where he hopes to set things right for his family. Instead, he unleashes the Egyptian god Set, who banishes him to oblivion and forces the children to flee for their lives.
Soon, Sadie and Carter discover that the gods of Egypt are waking, and the worst of them–Set–has his sights on the Kanes. To stop him, the siblings embark on a dangerous journey across the globe–a quest that brings them ever closer to the truth about their family, and their links to a secret order that has existed since the time of the pharaohs."

3 - In Five Years

I was in Google Books and found this book, read the synopsis and wrote the name in my book list. I love this genre of book, I'm a sensitive romantic who cries with everything and I know will cry with this book. I don't know why, but I know I will haha

"Where do you see yourself in five years?
Type-A Manhattan lawyer Dannie Kohan has been in possession of her meticulously crafted answer since she understood the question. On the day that she nails the most important job interview of her career and gets engaged to the perfect man, she's well on her way to fulfilling her life goals.
That night Dannie falls asleep only to wake up in a different apartment with a different ring on her finger, and in the company of a very different man. The TV is on in the background, and she can just make out the date. It's the same night - December 15th - but 2025, five years in the future.
It was just a dream, she tells herself when she wakes, but it felt so real... Determined to ignore the odd experience, she files it away in the back of her mind.
That is, until four and a half years later, when Dannie turns down a street and there, standing on the corner, is the man from her dream...
In Five Years is a love story, brimming with joy and heartbreak. But it is definitely not the love story you're expecting."

The Synosis made me shiver and I wanna read this book asap! And have New York, my dream city. Of course I will read.

4 - Wuthering Heights

I was cleaning the house and my parents came out with books. I freaked out because I love books so much. And they gave me Wuthering Heights. I didn't know what the book was about, but when I read the synopsis..Wow. It is a typical story that will keep me glued to the book for a long time until I finish.

"Lockwood, the new tenant of Thrushcross Grange, situated on the bleak Yorkshire moors, is forced to seek shelter one night at Wuthering Heights, the home of his landlord. There he discovers the history of the tempestuous events that took place years before. What unfolds is the tale of the intense love between the gypsy foundling Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw. Catherine, forced to choose between passionate, tortured Heathcliff and gentle, well-bred Edgar Linton, surrendered to the expectations of her class. As Heathcliff's bitterness and vengeance at his betrayal is visited upon the next generation, their innocent heirs must struggle to escape the legacy of the past."

5 - Anna and The French Kiss

Okay, as you noticed I love romantic books. I saw this book some years ago and read the synopsis, but I wasn't into romantic books yet. I was reading Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Divergente...this kind of book. But when I was searching for some romantic books I remembered Anna and The French Kiss. I loved the synopsis and looks the tipe of book that I will read in one day like The Pact.

"Anna can't wait for her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a good job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. So she's not too thrilled when her father unexpectedly ships her off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair, the perfect boy. The only problem? He's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her crush back home. Will a year of romantic near-misses end in the French kiss Anna awaits?"

I have so many books in my book list, really, it's a huge list, but I really wanna read these as soon as possible.

I hope you enjoyed. See you in the next article.
