Weekly Weigh-In

No weekly weigh in. I weighed myself Saturday last week and it was 125 lbs. but that may have been water weight, stress, or sodium so I don't really think it's much worth counting.

How I'm Feeling

Mentally and emotionally I have been super stressed lately. I started online classes about three weeks ago and it's been a rollercoaster. Between college applications, my internship, piano lessons, tutoring, my extracurriculars, honor societies, and my AP classes, I'm overwhelmed.

But I switched into an easier math AP class so I'm a little less stressed. I also have been really happy, probably since my period ended and my college applications are going really well.

In Love With My Body

So as you can tell from the title, I finally feel in love with my body. It's really astonishing but I love my body.

Of course, not everyday. Many days I hate the way I look and I get frustrated with my slow progress and difficulty getting to my goal weight.

But I really am happy. My stomach has gotten really toned and my waist is smaller and tighter than it used to be. My legs have miraculously slimmed down a lot and my glutes are way more rounded and firm. I also am developing some upper body strength and arm definition.

And on top of that, I've fallen in love with a healthy lifestyle. I used to hate eating healthy food and working out but it makes me feel so fulfilled, peaceful, and happy.

If you're on a Glow Up Journey and you haven't reached this point, don't worry! I never expected it. You need to be patient with yourself and your body. Time is your best friend when it comes to fitness and health. Take it one day at a time.

Fitness, Diet, and Health Tips:

Fitness:

Try a morning routine! I don't have time to do a full workout in the morning so I've been doing 10-20 minute yoga and workout routines from YouTube. I'll put my favorites down below.

Diet:

Try the 80/20 diet. It's not a "diet" but a way of eating. Basically, 80% of what you eat is "healthy" and 20% is "unhealthy". This lets you moderate your diet while still indulging. It's recommended by most doctors, dietitians, and nutritionists.

Health:

Get your flu shot! It's flu season and we need to help slow the spread of both Covid-19 and influenza right now.
