One of the points I stated was that I've been waking up early, and waking up early has made me want a tasty, filling breakfast to get me through the day!

I never really used to have breakfast, until last year, but every morning i would have biscoff spread on toast (not very good for you, but so delicious). Now I've realised that there are definitely healthier options that still taste great and will keep you full for hours, and when they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, they mean it!

1. Overnight Oats

I'm really obsessed with overnight oats right now! My favourite is the peanut butter one, here is the recipe:

The recipe says to use maple syrup however I don't, I personally think it tastes great without and doesn't need it! You could also add a tablespoon of cocoa powder if you want to give it a sweeter, chocolatey flavour. In the morning, I usually chop up half an apple and around 5 strawberries to mix in which tastes delicious.

Another way to make overnight oats is with yoghurt. Simply put your oats (and chia seeds if you'd like) into a bowl or container and add enough milk (I use almond) for the oats to absorb overnight. On top of the oats add whatever flavour yoghurt you'd like, preferably fat free. You could also add frozen fruit on top and leave in the fridge overnight, but I prefer to add fresh fruit in the morning, and then you can grab and go!

2. Eggs

Eggs in any form are such a great breakfast as they are filled with plenty of protein! My preference for breakfast is fried or runny boiled eggs, just make sure that if you're frying anything keep in mind that the oil you use is what would make it unhealthy.
If i'm having bread with my eggs my preference is to have brown bread instead of white!

3. Yoghurt & Fruit

This one is super simple, but really tasty! You could also add granola if you'd like.

4. Peanut Butter & Banana Toast

So I actually don't have this with the banana because i'm not a big fan of them, but my friend loves it! Put on brown bread toast this breakfast is full of fiber and protein.
You could also have avocado on toast.

5. Porridge

Similar to overnight oats, porridge is super filling and a great breakfast to kickstart your day!

6. Hot Lemon Water

So this isn't a breakfast, but the first thing I do in the morning is turn the kettle on and have two slices of lemon in a glass of hot water. This is amazing for you- keeping your digestive system working properly and clearing up your skin.
