High School Advice 2020! boys, parties, insecurities, + more.

Hi guys, and welcome! Today I want to give you some advice on how to survive high school. I graduated high school about a year ago, so some of this advice might be a little dated. Also, some of these things may not apply because of Covid. Things are a little bit different now, but you're going to be okay.

Open Up!

Open yourself up to new opportunities. It's easy to be shy. I know from experience. But if you just open up and show everyone who you really are, you will be surprised what can happen.

Have fun!

make friends and have fun. It's simple. But don't fall into peer pressure. Some kids think having fun is doing stuff that isn't very smart. Do what you think is fun. If that's playing sports, eating at cool restaurants, playing video games.

Take care of your self.

School can be very hard. But if you take care of yourself now, your future self will thank you later. This means, exercise, taking breaks, eating right, having self care days, saying no to plans if you don't feel like it. Also if you're struggling with classes or just in general, talk to your teachers or counselor.

Study a lot! There's no such thing as getting through school without a lot of hard work. Believe in yourself. You can do it.

That's it! Have a good year! Good luck!
