Hey Hearters!

Clothes. Everyone has their own sense of style and it changes as we grow. UGG boots, low-rise denim jeans, yoga pants, and bell-sleeved shirts were must-haves in the early 2000s.
Fast forward to 2020, trends have changed, yet not everyone can agree with what's being called 'cool' today.

1. Shoes Worn Over Pants

I am all in for trying new things, but strap heels over my pants is a no for me. Not only do I find it uncomfortable as I walk, but it's also just not flattering. I much rather cuff my skinny jeans and show off my heels.

2. Oversize Victorian Sleeves

Puffy sleeves give me major princess vibes and I am here for it!
A vintage, puffy shirt can make any pair of jeans look ten times more elegant.

3. Chunky Boots with Feminine Dresses

Chunky boots are bold and edgy and I tend to pair them with denim shorts or jeans.
When I tried to pair my boots with a long dress my outfit felt off. For long flowy dresses, I recommend wearing square heels because they are simple and won't take the focus off the dress.

4.Maxi Faux Leather Coats

It may be summer, but once the Texan heat drops I will purchase one of these gems. Not only are these leather coats warm, but they are also straight-up bold.

5. Bucket Hats

Not going to lie, at first I hated the bucket hat trend because it made me feel like a child. But, these bucket hats are adorable! It's an accessory that can be used year-round and there are many colors and styles to choose from!

6. Faux Leather Jumpsuits

At first glance, a faux-leather jumpsuit may seem amazing, but once you try it on you will feel like a tamale. This outfit is only suitable for an hour event in December because it is uncomfortable to remove when going to the restroom and it sticks to the skin at high temperatures. RIP Texan fashionistas.

7. Matching Printed Tops and Stockings

Yes, I am on board with matching tops and stockings! The prints make the outfit pop and stand out within a crowd. All I want to know is... where can I get them?

8. Square-Toed Heels

Square-toed heels are classy, even though they might seem weird at first it is still a good trend to follow. By wearing this style of heels, an outfit can go from plain to slay. The square edge heel is unique and will catch the eye of those who pass by.

9. Bucket-Style Bags

Bags can always be used as an accessory, but have in mind that they must be easy to carry and secure at the same time. I don't necessarily hate the buket-style bag, but I probably wouldn't utilize it as an everyday bag.

10. Chain Necklaces

A chain necklace is essential because it will be the only accessory you need to make any outfit stylish. Whether you wear a dress or a v-neck top, a chain necklace will become your go-to accessory.
