questions for introspection

here are some questions that can really get you thinking about where you are at right now, and where you'd actually like to be

set 1: starting to self reflect

  • am i taking anything for granted?
  • am i being true to myself?
  • am i working towards goals i've set for myself?
  • am i thinking negatively or positively?
  • am i putting enough effort into my relationships?

set 2: getting to know yourself better

  • what matters most in my life?
  • have i made someone smile today?
  • when did i last step out of my comfort zone?
  • how can i change, for the better?
  • is there something i want to be remembered for?

set 3: prompts for your journal

  • what are 10 things that make you smile?
  • my favourite way to spend the day is...
  • who are the people in your life that you love spending time with?
  • what are a few lessons you've learnt?
  • define unconditional love, what does this look like to you?

set 4: questions for day to day use

  • what is one good thing that happened today?
  • what is one thing/person/experience you are grateful for today?
  • what was a learning opportunity from today?
  • what did you do to relax today?
  • what is something you achieved today?

my experience with it so far

so far, even thinking about a few of these questions, gives me some kind of inner peace and i find myself thinking about how grateful i am for things i've never actually acknowledged before

i've definitely grown and matured more as a person, i'm still the same person on a surface level, but on a deeper level a lot has changed, when i compare myself to who i was seven months ago or so

my priorities have shifted, i've gotten to really know myself, and i've changed for the better, but obviously there is a lot more room for improvement

i'd definitely recommend introspection whenever you get a chance, but to also think about the people in your life, because the five people you spend the most time with combined, is actually who you end up being like

thank you for reading, i hope this brought you some perspective on introspecting and how it changes your entire mindset!!

so much love,
stay happy and healthy you guys ♡
