Hi! Today I’m going to teach you how I do niche memes!

niche, relatable, and niche meme image
an example of a niche meme

Apps I use:
⁃ PicsArt
⁃ Phonto
⁃ Polarr

The font I use:
⁃ CoolveticaRg-Regular (link to the font: https://www.dafont.com/coolvetica.font)

Ok, let’s get started!

1. First, I open Phonto. I start with a plain white background that is square cropped. On the top of the image I write a title (examples; trends I love, trends I hate, if my cat was a human, etc). If you’re following along, you can either use the specific font or something else you like. I also like to add my username next to the title so no one steals.
2. I then save the image and go into PicsArt. If you are new to PicsArt, there is a plus at the bottom of the screen, click that and you’ll see your photos. Once I’m in PicsArt, I click my most recent photo.
3. When I’ve reached the editing screen, I click “stickers” at the bottom of the screen and search “niche pngs.” After I’ve picked some, I rearrange them on the photo in the tightest way possible (think of it as a puzzle, you can’t have any empty areas, but none of the stickers should be actually touching). If I do have empty areas, I’ll fill them with a sparkle emoji.
4. I then save the creation and go back to photo.
5. I open the new photo and put text that relates to the title. (look at the cover image of this article as an example!)

If you’re following along, the “style” for each text box should be:
⁃ Text color: white
⁃ Stroke color: black
⁃ Stroke width: 1
⁃ Background color: Light Grey
⁃ Alpha: 0.60

6. I then save the image and go to Polarr. Go to “custom” and click “import style”. Click on the polarr image you saved, and now you have my custom filter!

*PLEASE NOTE: you must have a polarr account for this, and you need to have this image saved:

7. I then use the filter on the image, and make the style strength 20.

You and I have made a niche meme! I hoped this article helped.
