We always get asked what we want to be in five years or what we want to be when we grow up.
We are expected to know which way to go after high school and even before that.

People will tell you to follow your heart and do what you love. But than again they tell you to make sure you are able to make a decent living.

How are we supposed to know at the age of 16 what the best choice is. Hell some adults do not even know what they want and change their jobs.

Today I got asked what I wanted to be in five years. I looked at them and said 'I really have no freaking clue.' They looked at me and said 'How can you be in college if you do not know what you want?'

Well because we are forced to choose and pick something we think fits us. Something that could work out for the rest of our lives.

We are a society that is forced to grow up and think of the future while people tell us to live in the present.

We are the generation that is so lost because we have to look out for our future yet need to live in the present without thinking to much about the past. Yet we need to take the knowledge of the past with us to the future without missing a lesson in the present.
