Hello everyone!

Every now and again, we all stumble upon a show or movie or anything that changes our perspectives in life. I think that this is a beautiful thing and that it should be shared with others. Therefore, I have decided to compose a list of very informative and interesting documentaries/docuseries that have changed the way I see things so that anyone interested can also enjoy : )

Dirty Money

Thoroughly describes cases of insane greed and corruption. Definitely worth watching.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes

Lets you in on the mind of a deluded psychopath who believed he could charm his way out of anything. I thought that it was interesting to see it from a different perspective than law enforcement.

Evil Genius

This docuseries is over an infamous robbery that happened years ago and the depth behind it that honestly felt like something so unreal/movie-like.

Trial By Media

This one is by far my absolute favorite one. It explores the impact that the media has over juries and crimes prosecuted in the public's eye. As for how it changed me, it made me realize that the systemic issues currently going on in my country in regards to law enforcement mistreating minorities have been going on for years and at one point were even condoned.

Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich

documentary, filthy rich, and netflix image documentary, filthy rich, and netflix image
This one is very important to understand more of what Jeffrey Epstein did than what the news shows you. I also liked how much attention and a platform they gave the victims.

They made us watch this in my nutrition class and it was so good. It explains the way our diets affect us and also explains the food industry. Though, there is a noticeable bias since they are in fact vegans.

The Seventies

This one's my second favorite behind Trial By Media. It describes the 70s throughout a series of episodes and covers so many interesting yet important era topics such as women's rights, gay rights, terrorism, cults, Vietnam, United States foreign policy, Watergate and Richard Nixon, the war on drugs, protests, and other things I was completely unaware of or at least didn't fully know.

The Internet's Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz

This confirmed my suspicions over cybersecurity and also opened my eyes to the way the government here in the U.S. treats "hacktivists."

Thank you so much for reading!! I hope that you all watch these!
