Durning this pandemic we have extra time to rest and think. But we can only think clear when we have space in our heads.

Avoid social-media for a while.

If you check your social-media everyday you are constantly busy with other people instead of yourself. This can lead to a lot of stress. Even deleting your social-media for 2 days is helpful. You will notice that your mind finds more peace.

Meditation is a good way to clear your head.

  • Get comfortable and prepare to sit still for a few minutes.
  • Simply focus on your own natural inhaling and exhaling of breath.
  • Take a deep inhale, expanding your belly, and then exhale slowly, elongating the out-breath as your belly contracts.

Connect with nature

  • Go for a walk or bike-ride in a park or forest nearby. If you live in the city try to spot pretty flowers and trees in your neighborhood. Breath in the fresh air. Don't forget to keep your distance from other people.
  • Take care of your garden (if you have one).
  • Plant some seeds in your neighborhood or remove tares.
  • Take care of your plants.

Get rid of toxic people and things

  • Stop bad habits ( including complaining about yourself).
  • Stand up for yourself and end toxic relationships.

Get enough sleep

  • Sleep at least for 8 hours

Eat/drink healthy

  • Drink daily 8 glases of water.
  • Eat enough fruits and vegetables- try more vegan recipes
  • Take your time for a good meal
  • Don't skip breakfast

Take care of your skin

  • Put a on a face-mask/face-scrub 3 times a week
  • Stop wearing make-up
  • Take foot soaks
  • Use oils for your skin

Practice yoga

Yoga increases flexibility, improves muscle tone and strength, lowers stress and improves your mood.

Learn something new
