If there is something probably no one can say it hasn't been a key part of this quarantine, is eating! There is people who might be trying to eat a little healthier, or like me, with too much idle time on my hands, who might find this recipe very helpfull.

I love chocolate, and brownies are one of those things I can't say no to. So i've decided to work on a recipe good enough for my health and good enough for my appetite too, not an easy thing to find.

260gr Carob flour
250gr Butter
4 Eggs
200gr wholemeal sugar
100gr chopped walnuts
a pinch of baking powder

Start by pre-heating the oven at 180°.

1) First, beat the eggs and let them rest in the fridge for a couple of minutes. in the meantime, melt the butter.

2) Mix the sugar, the flour and the baking powder in a bowl. Then add the eggs and the butter until you get a heavy gough with no lumps. finally, put the walnuts into the mix.

3) choose a mould, spread some butter and flour on the mold (so it doesnt get the dough sticked) and pour the preparation. Put it into the oven and make sure you don't open it for at least 20 minutes.

4) After 20/25 minutes, open the oven and introduce a stick (it can be a knife or a fork too) into the dough. If it comes out dry, you can take the preparation out of the oven. I personally recommend to try and find the earliest point to take it out, before it gets too dry.

This way you'll get a perfectly tasty and light brownie. Good luck!
