The year, cause and solution is unknown but what is certain is that... humans must leave. Where they will go is a mystery but far away from the decaying and toxic planet they used to call home is certain.

Humans have clung and cherished music for as long as they have existed. Music plays softly as they travel throughout space... saying goodbye to their beloved deteriorating planet and putting the memories of war and prejudice behind them.

Hello everyone! This playlist is slightly different from the others I have made. I was writing a short story with one question in mind, what if humans had to leave Earth one day?

And so this playlist was created; a collection of songs about space or songs that give me the vibe of something that I would play if I was in that situation; travelling through space with the Earth behind me.

There are a few other songs in the playlist but I chose these favourites of mine for this article. This is quite a different playlist of mine but I liked the sound and the vibe of it all!

A lot of these songs are heavily synth-based and electronic which I thought was perfect for something about space and the universe beyond. While scrolling through We Heart It for a cover picture for this playlist, I found the Retro Futurism aesthetic which I also thought was perfect for this.

I hope you enjoyed this idea and like the playlist! Thank you for reading!
