The trova it's a poetic composition to be sung.

Silvio Rodríguez and Manuel García are old musicians and their genre it's called "trova". Probably you've never heard of this genre but I think some of you might like it (give it a try!), I have a special affection for this kind of music because my dad used to listen to this artists wen I was a little child :)
