Many of my friends and I want to find ways to decorate our rooms (and specifically our walls) and I've come up with a few ideas, so I decided to put them up for anyone struggling to find them. These decorations may not suit to everyone's aesthetic and I believe they are more teenage-orientated.

A pretty basic one, but it can really transform your room. It can really easily fill gaps on your walls, add colour to your room and show your personality through them.

There are endless possibilities in the ways you can use them; you can paint on them, or simply choose one with a beautiful cover. I've experimented more with CDs and you can also hang them with the good side facing the wall and leaving the back exposed, since it creates beautiful colors and even halos when there's light hitting it, or for the craziest ones, you can break them.

I couldn't find the right image, but you basically cut the letters on cardboard (and you can of course decorate them however you want) and stick them to string with washi tape (preferably transparent).

I drew a checkered pattern with a few lilac squares on the side of the furniture I store my shoes. You can of course draw something more risque if you are comfortable but even for people with no experience in drawing, something like that is both amusing and relaxing.

You don't have to print it; you can easily cut circles and design the moon inside, without neccesserily including the shadows.

You could paint something simple or stick stickers, posters and anything that wouldn't fall. I have stuck stars from cardboard in red, blue, green and yellow and I honestly think they are kinda cute.

You can stick them wherever you want and they will add a burst of color to your room.

Do you have merch from a concert? Put it on your wall! It is a great way to express your personality and your music taste.

Do you have a cool backpack, or a guitar? Or maybe a belt collection, a beautiful scarf, a skateboard or a shirt from your favourite artist? You can hang it on your wall to avoid monotonous sqare-shaped posters.

I have LED strips and let me tell you it can transform the look of your room. I also want to buy a star projector. Different colors can give your room a lease of life.
