1- Budgeting

It's important to learn budgeting to reach your financial goals. Some people might feel that it's restricting but all it is that you knowing how much money you are bringing in instead of wondering where all of your hard-earned money went. Just think about all the opportunities it can bring. you can open an emergency fund, invest, save for a house, education, travel...etc.

2- Interviewing

This might not be an everyday skill that you use but when you do need to use it, you better be good at it. otherwise, someone else who has this skill might get the job instead of you. Always be prepared at least a day before the interview. Research about the company, think about the possible questions you might get asked, dress professionally, and be ready to promote yourself to appeal to them why you are worth hiring.

3- Negotiation

Most things in this world are black and white. Meaning things arent always 100% yes or No. There is a grey area that often gets concealed. Sometimes all you have to do is ask. Especially when you fail, don't just walk away. Ask for another chance. You feel you deserve more salary then talk to your boss. You want to buy a house but it's a bit expensive for you, talk to the broker or the seller to see if they can do anything. It doesn't hurt to try.

4 -Confidence

I feel like this is talked about a lot but it really is that important. you just need to believe in yourself that you can do it. You have put in a considerable amount of work and results will come. don't talk down about yourself to you or others. Learn to stand up for yourself because no one else is going to. this doesn't mean you have to be cocky. There is a difference between being confident and cockiness. just try not to think that you are better than anyone else but also don't look down at yourself. Everyone's journey is different. so, try to have a balance.

5- Managing your time

OMG. This is very crucial. Social media is a curse and a blessing. I spent so much time online but the truth is that I don't really get a lot out of it. I can mindlessly scroll on Instagram or TikTok or binge-watching youtube videos for hours before I find out its already 10 pm. I think the best way to approach this issue is to set up a time for a specific to-do list. Like, working in the morning, family time in the afternoon, working again in the evening, and then going to the gym...etc.

6- Consistency

consistency and commitment goes hand in hand in my opinion. consistency means sitting constant effort on something you are aiming for. Commitment is how long you are doing that. It's a valuable skills for a reason. the more consistent you are the better you will get. it will become a system.
