Hello, again lovelies! I am back with another article for the week. I want to talk to you all about reading, why it's so important and its benefits. I know a lot of you love reading just as much as I do, but I thought why not tell you its importance on the mental side.

To start, Knowledge: reading on the far side, will improve so much of your accent, idioms, and vocabulary. You will unknowingly say something you have never thought of saying and you will be like" oh wow when did I get all Shakspearean?!" Reading does that.

Also, when you are reading books about different cultures and countries, you get to know them better. You get a taste of a new world you would wish to be at but couldn't for a while.

Peace of mind: a lot of us take that time of the day, for 30 minutes or more to just get lost in books. Some takes it as a sort of meditation where they stop thinking about the million stressful things they have to do and just read. Allowing the brain to take a break from reality. I believe that we all need this either at the beginning, middle, or end of our day.

Wisdom: books hold a piece of wisdom in it that either it is fiction or nonfiction, you would still learn something from the way the events turn out or from the main characters themselves. Either way, I know that many of us by the end of the book, after the last cover page has closed, we would sit there just staring and revising the events silently in our heads. Those few moments we let that small piece of wisdom into our body and brain.

Finally, I want to recommend five books that I have loved reading and would reread again if I find the time!

1- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
2- Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso
3- Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Album
4- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
5 The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

Lots of love to you all out there!
