Hi Loves! ♡ Today I wanted to share with you 8 tips that have helped me learn German. It isn't an easy language, but it’s really cool when you understand it.

1. There are 3 noun genders (der - masculine, die - feminine & das - neutral), & the article used will depend on their gender.
2. The nouns are written in capital letters all the time, it doesn't matter the position of the word in the sentence.
3. You need to learn the 4 ‘declinations’ (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative), in German they decline articles, nouns & adjectives.
4. The letter «Eszett», is written ß, & it's pronounced like ’s’.
5. The vowels can have an «Umlaut», which is the German dieresis & it influences the pronunciation (ä=ae, ü=ue y ö=oe).
6. The conjugation of irregular verbs change only with the second & third person
7. There are 7 modal verbs (können, wollen, sullen, müssen, dürfen, mögen & möchten) & the conjugation on the first & third person is the same.
8. There are differences between the accents of all German-speaking places. In fact, a German from the south can have big problems when it comes to understanding another from the north. The so-called standard German "Hochdeutsch" is known, but not everyone speaks it well.
