So today I'm showing you guys some simple changes you can make in your life to get you motivated or more positive!

1. drink more water ๐Ÿ’ง

drinking water is essential for a healthy body and helps with digestion and sickness. It's great for acne, glowing skin and tired looking eyes.

2. stretch / yoga ๐Ÿ’ช

stretching helps me feel so much more awake whenever I do it. If you're sore or have aching areas on your body stretching really makes a difference in loosening the muscle.

3. put effort into your sleeping routine ๐Ÿ’ค

anyway....
sleep is so important and effects your mood throughout the day. try to have a set bedtime every night that's between the hours of 8 - 10. This way you'll get a good night's sleep and wake up refreshed the next day.

4. try to eat healthy ๐Ÿฅ—

eating healthy helps your body store energy and prepare you for events in your day. motivate yourself by creating a pinterest board of healthy food/recipes. message me if you want a whole article dedicated to healthy recipes to try!

5. take a hot bath ๐Ÿ›€

utalise one of those bath bombs you've had for 6 months unused because you thought they were to good to destroy and hop in the tub! baths are great for relaxation and escaping from the stress of school, work or just reality. you could even add some oats, eucalyptus oil or bath salts to up the fun!

personally I think meditation can be very relaxing and effective for some people and annoying for others. if you are someone who does not like meditation maybe try a guided breathing exercise or asmrโ€ฆ

2. try a new skincare item ๐Ÿค—

I love trying new skincare items especially serums or face scrubs! every once in a while try to try new things, it helps with your adaplibility and anxiety.

3. go for a workout ๐Ÿ‹

a workout can be at the gym, in your room or going outside for a jog. as long as you're getting enough exercise in day to day do whatever!one way to get motivated is to force yourself to chuck on some cute activewear, then think ; well I'm all ready dressed for it, may as well go for a run!

4. try a new local cafรฉ or coffee shop โ˜•

local cafes are such a great way to keep in touch with your community even in our busy lives. Next time you think of going to a chain cafรฉ (e.g. Starbucks, Tim Horton or Gloria jeans) check out a local artsy cafรฉ or coffee shop!

5. create moodboards or motivation boards! ๐ŸŽ€

vision boards and mood boards are really in at the moment weather it be on pinterest or in a bullet journal it's up to you to motivate yourself.
you can add things such as

๐ŸŽ€ short term goals
๐ŸŽ€ passions, hobbies
๐ŸŽ€ life goals
๐ŸŽ€ selfcare ideas
๐ŸŽ€ ask yourself questions such as

what do I want to do for relaxation or fun?
what aesthetics do I want?
where do I want to be in ten years time?
how many dogs will I own? lol

6. hang out with friends ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ง

hanging out with friends is a great way to destress from the reality of life. there's something special about a group of girls being together and just hanging out. you could even try something fun like a trampoline sleepover or loungeroom pillow fort!

7. shop - find a new style ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

shopping can relax and calm some people but me a manic stressful situation. a tip is to go in thinking about what you may find not what you need right this minute. this way you can look around more relaxed and at ease.

8. give yourself some alone time ๐Ÿ’—

cuz girl you need it ๐Ÿ’—

spending alone time is a great way to rejuvenate and think about things without having the pressure of pleasing other people. treat yourself to selfcare day, Netflix, reading, yoga and some good food!
