Okay, I'm not going to lie, I was just bored so here I am to talk about my opinions that are part of the minority (at least in the United States haha). I'm not here to hate on anyone or be rude. I've read many of these and I think many times people can be rude towards celebrities and stuff like that but I'm doing this for fun and not to hate on anyone. Don't take anything personally because it's just my opinion and we don't have to agree on everything. I feel like sometimes it seems like everyone you know likes the same things but that's not actually true and that's why I'm writing this article. Always be yourself and remember that you don't have to "fit in".

I don't like Romcoms (except 10 things I hate about you and...)

10 things i hate about you, quotes, and movie image

Growing up I used to love Romcom movies. I was a hopeless romantic and my favorite movies were 50 first dates, How to lose a guy in 10 days... and basically anything that had romance and was on TV. I realized that even though there's nothing wrong with those movies... they really made me want to have a boyfriend and feel bad about being single. Like I get it, it's just a movie. However, slowly I started seeing that they are all pretty much the same thing. One of the few romcoms I still love is 10 Things I Hate About You because it's a movie that I can actually identify with. I nowadays think it's extremely boring and a waste of time to watch romcoms/chick-flick movies since they are pretty much a copy of each other. The only other romcom I like besides the first one I mentioned is 500 days of Summer because the ending is really unpredictable. I know everyone wanted them to end up together but that's not how it happens in real life. I could also relate a lot to the main protagonist even though I felt kinda bad for the guy. 500 Days of Summer is way more realistic than other rom-com movies where the guy quits his job and runs off to the airport to STOP an airplane that's about to take off to find his dream girl waiting for him.

I don't use Snapchat

river phoenix, boy, and 90s image
99% of young people I know have Snapchat and I just don't get the hype around it. I think some of the filters are really cool and that's all. I honestly don't care if my classmate or co-worker is swimming in the pool or they got gum on their shoes. The home page with news and magazines is mostly useless. News about social media celebrities and a Snapchat that a good-looking girl posted... hm cool? Memes are funny but I think Snapchat is just a waste of time and just makes teenagers and young adults want more attention and do some dumb shit just to get a picture. Also, I don't want to see a guy's sleepy face and his hair looking like a lion when I don't even know his age.

Taco Bell is overrated?

Image removed
Have you ever heard of the Taco Bell hotel? Because I have and I don't know even know what to say. I don't know what this obsession with Taco Bell is in the United States but I don't get it. The prices are really cheap but I hate the tacos from Taco Bell. They are literally tasteless. There are many other junk food places I would rather eat for a good price instead of Taco Bell.

Why is everyone's favorite Netflix series Stranger Things?

stranger things, love, and couple image
I like Stranger Things. It's an interesting show. However, I think it's funny how most people's favorite show is Stranger Things. Do people even try watching other things? I feel like most young people nowadays just watch what is trendy and many popular Netflix shows are good, but can we also watch other things? There are incredible Netflix shows out there that are not so popular but they might become your favorite after you give them a try.

Ariana Grande's music

Image removed
Thank U Next.... hm more like No thanks. I love her voice. She is a great singer and no one can deny that. But I don't like her pop tracks. I wish she could put out more r&b tracks like "Dangerous Woman" which is probably my favorite song of her entire discography. I also recommend "Let Me Love You" which I listened to for 5 months straight back then.

I still watch cartoons

Temporarily removed
Yes, I'm 19 and I still watch cartoons and your life must be really boring if you think cartoons are just for children. I still love Scooby-Doo, Peanuts and many other cartoons. It's totally okay if you don't like cartoons but I think I don't want to miss that child part of me. No one should ever lose that "innocent" side.

Halsey's new era?

Image removed
I saw some people complaining that her last single "Nightmare" doesn't sound like her other more pop songs but I honestly love this side of Halsey. It's actually my favorite song of hers. It reminds me of pop-punk 90s music and I live for this. The message is really powerful and I love how she's being more of herself and putting out what she wants. If this song is the start of a new era for Halsey, then I'm in.

VSCO Fashion

The Breakfast Club, movie, and 80s image
Boring, mediocre and why is VSCO fashion even a thing? Isn't that what normal citizens wear everywhere? Scrunchies are everywhere and I myself own many scrunchies. I don't know how "VSCO girls" are different from just any college girl on campus or even a high school girl.
So did you find any opinion that you could relate to? I had a lot of fun writing this article! Thank you for reading this until the end.
