Hello everyone!
Today I'm back with an article about my August 2019 Favourites! The list is going to include TV shows, songs, books and other random stuff.
Enjoy!
1. Movies/Series
Clueless
I know, it's a classic movie from the '90s, but I haven't watched it until this month, and I don't regret I finally did it! It was a great movie and also it was nice seeing Paul Rudd starring in it
Euphoria - season finale
I loved the fact that the season didn't have one of those happy and predictable endings that everyone got tired of. It was just mindblowing and it makes the viewers keep guessing about what truly happened.
The Big Bang Theory - Season 12
It was an incredible show! I simply loved watching it and it has brought plenty of happiness to my life! I felt so sad after finishing it like there was a void in my heart and the realisation that they have actual families and different lives hit me hard. I mean, of course, I knew that before, but somehow it seemed more real afterwards.
How I Met Your Mother - Season 3
It's a great show!
2. Music
Au/Ra - Assassin
"You know you're your own assassin /
You don't need no help with that /
It's your back that you been stabbin' /
When you gonna understand?"
All For Us - Zendaya, Labrinth
I'm taking it all for us, oh /
Doing it all for love
Alec Benjamin - Jesus in LA
Well, I shook hands with the devil /
Down on the south side /
And he bought us both a drink
Miley Cyrus - Slide Away (VMA's Performance)
Once upon a time, it was made for us /
Woke up one day, it had turned to dust /
Baby, we were found, but now we're lost /
So it's time to let it go
Mahmood - Barrio
Cercami nel barrio /
Come se, come se fossimo al buio /
Nella notte vedo te /
Casa mia mi sembra bella /
Dici: "Non fa per te" /
Però vieni nel quartiere /
Per ballare con me
3. Books
The folk of the Air (1,2) - Holly Black
Honestly, I cannot say anything bad about these books! They are definitely my favourite fantasy novels!
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
Another extremely beautiful and touching novel! Needless to say, I'm a huge fan of classic English literature, which usually consists of complex characters with a great destiny.
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
I've heard so much about this book, and I have to admit, I was impressed! Even if it's not the kind of novel I would usually read, it felt like something different, exquisite and fresh. It is indeed an amazing book, and if you're thinking about reading it, well stop wasting your time and do it!
4. Random Stuff
Ribbed Tops
School Supplies
The new school year will start pretty soon, so August was all about buying the cutest notebooks, pens and highlighters I could find
So that's all for today! Thank you for reading this article!
Have a nice day!
