This time I bring you one of the most common materials that are used in witchcraft CANDLES.
CANDLES
The role of colour in candle magick plays a main role. There
are 12 basic colors, which offer different sensory vibrations.
And depending on the colour of the candle the burning time changes. You have to have that on your mind when you want to make a spell.
Symbolically, candlelight represents illumination, the
energizing power of the sun, and the spark of life that
resides within the human soul.
Red Courage, strength, survival, power, lust, immediate action. Burning time One hour.
Pink Love, friendship, open the heart,calm the emotions. Burning time One hour.
Orange Action, attraction, selling, bringabout desired results. Burning time Two hours.
Yellow Communication, selling oneself, persuasion, attraction. Burning time Three hours.
Green Love, fertility, money, luck, health, personal goals. Burning time Four hours.
Blue Creativity, tranquility, peace, perception. Burning time Three hours.
Indigo Wisdom, self-awareness, psychic abilities. Burning time Two hours.
Violet Power, ambition, tension,spiritual development. Burning time One hour.
Black Protection, return or release negativity, power. Burning time One hour.
Brown Stability, grounding, earth rites, create indecision. Burning time Four hours.
White Universal color, can be used for any work. All general candle
Gold Prosperity, attraction, wealth, increase. Burning time One hour.
HISTORY
Like many aspects of modern life, candles owe their existence to the ancient Romans, who began producing dipped tallow candles in the year 500 BC. These early candles were made using tallow wax, which was derived from the meat of cows and sheep, and an unwound strand of twine.
It originates from fire worship. Early man was in awe
of fire, it warmed him, protected him, and helped him cook
his food.

MAGICAL WAYS TO USE IT
Black Cat Protection Spell
A good spell to ward off the evil intentions of another,
block psychic attack, or turn your luck around.
Items needed: One black cat candle, black cat oil (composed
of patchouli and frankincense), and a mirror.
On the night of the waxing moon, as close to midnight
as possible, begin the spell. On your altar, or a small table, place the mirror reflecting side up. Dress the black cat candle
with the black cat oil. As you do this, visualize your luck changing
and good things coming to you. Next, place the cat candle
on the mirror and light it as you chant the following:
Black cat power
From this hour
Reflect the light
Make things right.
Allow the black cat candle to burn for one hour. Repeat
this spell every night, at the same time, until the full moon.
On the night of the full moon, place the mirror with the
black cat on it in the moonlight. Repeat the chant, and allow
the candle to burn out. When the candle has been consumed,
discard any wax left and put the mirror away.
