Traveling doesn't just include getting on a plane or hopping in a car towards your magical Destination! But there's all the details in between!

Planning a vacation on your own can be a daunting task, especially if you have never been to the location you're traveling to. Don't fret though, researching is part of the fun!

I am currently in the process of planning and booking my next vacation! This is not my first rodeo of planning either. For those who have never planned a trip before or just need a little more guidance, this article is for you!

Short and Sweet is the best! I will provide a basic Itinerary outline below to help you guys jump-start your DREAM trip planning!

1. Pick a Destination!

Seems simple enough, right? Well not exactly (if you're anything like me). Whether it's a bustling city, a tropical beach, beautiful countryside there's a lot to consider! However, there's no need to start too big and fly across oceans! It could be a simple road trip to a local city or landmark. You decide!

2. Transportation

Once you choose your destination, the next step is to figure out the most efficient way to get there! Do you need to fly miles and save time? DO you want multiple stops and road trip it? Is it close enough to take a magical train ride? Or do you want adventure and take a cruise, sailboat or fancy yacht?

3. Number of Days

How many days are you planning for your trip? A few days? A week? Month? **Remember to take into account travel time to and from your destination!!***

4. Details, Research and Details!

Now here is the tricky part! Most people hate doing research for traveling because it is very stressful and there are multiple things to take into account. I've personally have always loved researching for my trips! One because it gets me even more excited to go to my destination! Two it helps to research as much as you can to make sure you're getting good deals. And lastly, I love learning new things and what's a better way of learning about your destination but by researching!

Hope I didn't stress any of you out more then you probably are. Just remember that no matter how stressed you are planning you'll be excited to have it all done so you can just enjoy your new adventure!!

To help with the research and detail parts I have listed a few questions to ask yourself while planning!

o When is the best time to visit your destination?

o What season do you want to travel during? How is the weather? *Hint! If you are traveling to different hemispheres seasons are flopped!! For example: if it is winter in the United States, it is summer in Brazil*

o Am I traveling out of country? If so what is there currency?

o What is the culture like? Food? People?

o How close are the sites and locations, I want to see, to each other?

o What is the best way to get around? By foot? Bike? Public transit?

Those are just a few things I ask myself when planning trips! Best of luck beginning your adventure!!
