Awhile back, I took a quiz that gave me great insight into my own personality. This was no ordinary Buzzfeed quiz though, it was the Myers-Briggs personality test. When you take this test, you end up finding out a lot about yourself as you are categorized into one of sixteen personality types, which are referred to under a four-letter abbreviation, which is listed below.
As I was reading through my results, I thought about how it would be fun to share what they say about my personality and see if I can possibly find others that have similar or even the same personality as me!

To begin, my personality type is labeled as ๐๐๐ ๐-๐, which stands for introverted, intuition, feeling, perceiving and turbulent. This particular personality type, which only makes up 4% off the population, is also known as the Mediator personality. Mediator personalities are true idealists who always come off as shy, calm and reserved. However, they have a powerful drive that brings light to any situation and aids them in always searching for the good in people.

Mediators heavily rely on their principles when they move forward in life. They look towards honor, beauty, morality, and virtue, as they are lead their actions with only the purest intent.
Due to these qualities, Mediators enjoy deeply communicating with others. They find great joy in sharing their ideas creatively, explaining why many Mediators are poets, actors, and writers. They use creative outlets to help them understand who they are and their place in the world.
Although they're able to create deep connections and create a brighter outlook for their friends, Mediators tend to focus their attention on a few people, as they can quickly be spread too thin. This feeling can drift into them losing touch and withdrawing, leaving them to be alone, just until their idealism and creativity find their way back.

Some of the strengths Mediators tend to have is they are idealistic, they seek and value harmony, and they are open-minded and flexible. On top of this, they are very creative, passionate and energetic, along with being dedicated and hard-working.
When it comes to their weaknesses, their idealism can be something that fits into both categories. Mediators tend to be too idealistic, causing themselves to be let down when something doesn't live up to their expectations. They can also be too altruistic, causing them to be unselfish.
A few more of their weaknesses are they are impractical, they dislike dealing with data, they take things personally and they are difficult to get to know.

Overall, there are not many personalities that carry the same poetic, kind heart that Mediators do. Although they have to overcome many challenging obstacles throughout their lifetime, just as any other personality, they ultimately brighten the life of others around them as they conquer them. This inevitably inspires others and encourages them to share the love.
