║ hello all, this will be the first article i've ever written! ㋡ maybe i'll look back in a couple of months and see myself as a more evolved once, but for now, i've only been a once for maybe a couple of months now and i just wanted to express how much i love my girls so much! ║
║ at one point, i actually used to be a huge twice fan back in around 2017-2018, but then i took a break from kpop itself mainly due to the fanbase saying some dumb stuff and i just couldn't take it anymore... i then picked up interested when fancy was released and realized the good side of the kpop community made me feel happy and overall, they're a very supportive bunch! i'm a huge ONCE, but I'm also a pretty big My Day, Blink, ReVeluv and MIDZY as well :O ║
║ so now i guess for now to start off i will give a ranking of each member, but these don't mean anything because i love them all so much, i just have preferences ;( i'll also probably do some smaller sections on title track rankings and favorite b-sides, who knows ;) enjoy reading, maybe a reflection as well on why i got into twice! ║

- 1. ᴄʜᴀᴇʏᴏᴜɴɢ - literal definition of underrated, she doesn't get enough credit! my ultimate bias use to be tzuyu but then i dig some more digging of myself and i connected way more with chae than i did with yoda so that says a lot. underrated vocals, funny as hell and one of the more cuter ones! no one can match her badass rappery and you MUST have her if you wanted to make a subunit from twice because she is the best all-rounder next to sana. best era: Signal
- 2. Tȥυყυ - we stan an aesthetics goddess , no one can compare, and although people crap on her vocals a lot, they've been getting MUCH better just like the rest of TWICE. my bias for quite a good while, she is just so badass and i wish i could flip my hair and shoot arrows as efficiently as she does ;( best era: Heart Shaker
- 3. MIПΛ - penguins are my favorite animal. mina is also a penguin. so this means mina is my favorite penguin. she is such a talented person, she literally studied ballet for 11 years! imagine a black swan and penguin crossover, i wonder what would happen... anyways she got me shot thru the heart. best era: What is Love?
- 4. 𝕁𝕚𝕙𝕪𝕠 - hurts to have jihyo out of my top 3, but she has really grown since the story begins. back then, she was literally underrated mainly because of her visuals, but imo i think she has the best vocals in the group next to nayeon, i mean listen to HO! she literally popped off in that song. in DTNA, she looked stunning, and fancy is really where she shined. im also happy for her and KD! best era: DTNA
- 5. 𝗝𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘆𝗲𝗼𝗻 - also up there with chae as one of the more underrated ones, i really need JYP to give her more lines like swear to god she has one of the best vocals in TWICE. come back short hair jeongyeon we miss u ;( LITERALLY LISTEN TO LIKE A FOOL SHE IS LITERALLY AMAZING SKSKSKSKSKSK best era: Signal
- 6. ᑎᗩYEOᑎ - wow. i just can't believe how fkin amazing her vocals are. like honestly, have you seen her sing naturally with no instrumentals or microphones? its so angelic i'm kinda jealous.. her, jeongyeon and jihyo the main vocalists of the group im crying ;D i insisted on tying jeongyeon for 5th but in the end jeongyeon got the SLIGHEST edge but i love them both im so sorry best era: Likey
- 7. M̶o̶m̶o̶ - everyone's favorite dancer, boy oh boy shes got all the moves! i would rate her as the best dancer in the group, i mean cmon seriously its not even a competition at this point.. plus all the westerners really seem to favor momo over everyone else so she's got that going for her... never forget her and dahyun having that mega cute convo in english ;( best era: Cheer Up
- 8. Ｓａｎａ - well, the age old question of whether or not sana is gay or not.... her relationship with tzuyu and the rest leans me towards a certain side... ;) haha just kidding unless what if ..... nahhh anyways sana is really a great all-rounder; voice not in the tier of nayeon, jihyo or jeongyeon but still great and its cute. dancing skills especially from sixteen is underrated and she is that energetic sister that won't stop pestering everyone which is sooo cute best era: Cheer Up
- 9. 𝔇𝔞𝔥𝔶𝔲𝔫 - everyone's favorite rapper, she's got sick bars and raps and is always in a cheerful mood :) never fails to disappoint to make me smile with all her weird but funny dances, and all of her nicknames of tofu and dubu are just sooo cute! i know some people think she is the least talented out of twice, but she is in twice for a reason and i think those people should try out for k-pop auditions and see how it goes... every single twice member is talented and you're not a ONCE if you don't think that. best era: Heart Shaker

what the hell are my top 5 favorite title tracks?
- 1. 𝘍𝘈𝘕𝘊𝘠 - this song is just an absolute bop. i first heard it when i was on break from kpop in general and oh man this song is the song that got me back into TWICE. I mean come on, the dance is so fun to do and I've literally memorized about 90 percent of the song already! the overall beat and pace is just so fun and there's a hint of badass if you watch it alongside the music video!
- 2. 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘭 - this song gets a lot of hate for no reason, but i believe it's one of their better songs and i would put it over songs like knock knock, cheer up and ooh-ahh, the dance is fun to do, and the song is pretty catchy. also its probably one of the more songs that has a well balanced line distribution compared to their older songs like Cheer Up, Truth, and Touchdown (even tho Chae is the main star of td :O)
- 3. 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘺 - this song is either a hit or miss for most people; you either love it or you hate it, and i'm on the obviously correct side of loving it; lmao just kidding, however, back before i took my break, this was actually the newest song released ahead of WIL and i instantly fell in love with it. the entire era of DTNA with its beach aesthetics, their outfits and the MV itself, it was very satisfying for me, and that is why it's in my top 5 list.
- 4. 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘺 - no matter the mood i'm in, when this song comes up in my playlist i instantly get cheered up! the music video and dance itself is iconic, and i want to say this is probably their most well known song as well. everything about the likey era was so bubbly and fun, and as the title track off a titan like 𝓣𝔀𝓲𝓬𝓮𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓶, its such a fitting song to kick off an album with literally all the b-sides being amazing in their own way. me likey!
- 5. 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳 - the lead single off the repackage of twicetagram, its just... idk how to describe it but its just so CATCHY. anyone know that episode of spongebob where he had earworm and just couldn't get that song off? its literally the same thing with heart shaker except its the damn chorus which isn't a bad thing... also is sana gay? the world may never know

as you may know, twice has many b-sides. THERE'S REALLY NOT ANY BAD ONES, EVERYONE JUST HAS DIFFERENT TASTES (unless you're an "I Wanna Be a Star" stan then...) especially twicetagram, its literally a behemoth of b-sides that are all so good in their own way like wtf... anyways here we go!

what it really means to be a once
❖ i have no idea where to start. honestly it just means so much being part of the ONCE community. everyone is so supportive of each other and we are very loyal to the TWICE members themselves. i think my life would be in a different place if i never found TWICE or kpop in general, i'm just so heavily influenced by kpop that it would be a shame if it somehow dropped out of my life (eventually it will, but that's not gonna happen any time soon).
❖ i went through some rough patches in 8th grade to freshman year of high school, but music helped me get through it the most because its an outlet for me to relax and connect with messages expressed through those songs. TWICE as a group allowed me to do that and i can't thank them enough! i know it sounds corny to some people and almost obsessive, but music can change peoples lives.
❖ also TWICE helped me get into KPOP in general. i listen to other artists like red velvet, day6, BTS, itzy, blackpink etc and it made me appreciate the wide variety of artists, genres and songs one style of music could have.
❖ i think being a ONCE is more than just a label, its about being part of something bigger, a dedicated and loyal fanbase who is ready to support and love their artist is any way possible. one example that comes to mind is Mina and her anxiety, we made her trending on twitter in a matter of minutes and we all understood the situation. in concerts even, they changed their candy bongs colors to mint green, which is for Mina and that really touched my heart.
