7 Hair Growth Don'ts
1. Don't Use Plastic Brushes
The right brush can be the tool you've been missing in your life! It can help you achieve gorgeous and healthy hair. For the best results, you'll want a brush that has boar hair (or any animal hair). The boar bristles are soft and gentle for the hair.
Daily brushing with a quality brush will give your hair the natural softness that many companies try to replicate. A good brush distributes natural oils from your scalp evenly over your hair. As you can see, a brush isn't only for detangling hair.
2. Don't Roughly Towel Dry Hair
Slow down with the towel drying! You don't want to be really rough when towel drying your hair because it can potentially lead to breakage. Towel dry your hair by gently tapping on it.
3. Don't Comb Or Brush Wet Hair
Wet hair is more elastic and more likely to break, so it's not recommended to brush it while it's wet. Brushing wet hair is one of the roughest actions you can do to your hair. If you need to brush it while it's still wet, rather use your fingers instead.
4. Stop Putting Your Hair Under Stress
Different hairstyles are fun and easy to make. It's enough to have a straightener and you can easily make your hair curly or straight. Unfortunately, hairstyles are harmful for your hair! Damage caused by air dryers and straighteners is irreparable. If you don't want to totally give up of your favorite straightener, start using a heat-protector spray to help mitigate some of the damage.
5. Don't Pull Or Tug Your Hair
Ponytails can cause hair to break, especially if you like them tight. Permanent hair damage can occur if you wear your hair in a ponytail every day. Hair bands, hairpins and clips aren't your hair's friend - they cause stress to your scalp and breakage to your hair. Try to avoid this type of hairstyle as much as you can. Instead of a ponytail, style your hair in a braid.
Also don't sleep with your hair loose. Braid it to reduce damage.

6. Avoid Hair Washing In Hot Water
Hot water feels so good but it's not good for the hair. Hot water can make your hair easy to break and can weaken the hair roots. Only positive thing about hot water is that it helps with hair cleaning. Hot water opens the hair cuticles and allows easy removal of dirt and oils.
Next time you'll be washing your hair, pay attention to the water temperature. Warm water might be more beneficial for your hair.
7. Don't Color/Bleach Your Hair
It's not unknown hair coloring and bleaching isn't good for the hair, right? Constantly coloring and bleaching can dry your hair. If your hair is damaged and unhealthy, you can't expect faster hair growth.
7 Hair Growth Do's
1. Massage Your Scalp
Scalp massages can relax the nerves in the scalp and increase blood circulation. Giving yourself a scalp massage is easy and can be done everywhere just by using your fingertips. You can massage it with the quality hair brush or including some hair oil. Results will be visible quickly.
2. Regular Trimming
Make sure to get a haircut every few months, especially if you have split ends. You don't need to cut it a few centimeters - micro trims are enough. It's important to have a hair stylist you trust! You should trim your hair every 8 to 12 weeks.
3. Air Dry Your Hair
Instead of constantly using blow dryers to dry your hair, try more often to air dry it. If you're in a hurry and you need dry hair ASAP, use the coolest setting and keep the dryer about 6-inches away from your hair.

4. Eat Healthy
It's simple - if you're healthy, your hair will grow fast and healthy. Hair is an outward sign of inside health (just like your skin). We already listed some of the hair foods at the beginning of this article. Try to include them in your diet.
5. Biotin & Vitamins
Hair needs biotin, vitamin B and C to remain strong, shiny, lustrous and to grow faster.
