Intro- Hi everyone hope you all have had a good day so far. Saving money can be a challenge in general especially if you are on holiday so here are a few tips to do that will help you save money on your next holiday. Enjoy!

  • PLAN YOUR BUDGET

If you are like me I LOVE to overspend when I'm on holiday and then end up crying by the end of my holiday because of how much I've spent. By planning your budget before hand you are able to have a guideline on what you can do within your budget. This also helps you get more organised and this will limit the likelihood of you running out of money when you are on holiday.Also there may be a few apps that can help you do save money and help you manage it.
  • DO YOUR RESEARCH

Do your research! Before you go on holiday research things you can do for free! (I will do an article on things you can do for free in London, so stay tuned!) There will be plenty of things you can do for free wherever you are going eg. going to museums, the beach, site seeing
  • PICK YOUR DATES

If you are traveling in the summer holidays try and go as late as possible as the prices are cheaper for example try going late August and early September.
  • WEIGH YOUR LUGGAGE

This is something me and my family do before we get to the airport as when we get to the airport we don't need to worry and stress about our luggage/suitcases being over weight and not following the weight restrictions, depending on which airline you take you could be saving a few $$ and ££.
  • BRING YOUR OWN FOOD

Bringing/making your own food before you get to the airport is cheaper then buying it when you get there. But remember you can't bring liquids through security!
