I have found myself recently apologizing for taking up space. I found myself feeling like a stranger in a body that has always been mine. That will always be mine. But I was taught to hide my body. I was taught to be less than what my body is. As women, as people we are taught to only accept certain types of bodies and the rest of us have to fend for ourselves. The rest of us have to strive to fit into the body that society wants but we shouldn't have to have to apologize for what our body is. I am not saying loving your body is easy because it isn't but we should start accepting our bodies for what they are and what they are here to do.

Sincerely, Tate
